Hi, I'm Kemp!

I was just like you 10 years ago. My family had animals my entire life growing up. But I had never trained a dog before from start to maintenance. At first I really thought I knew what I was doing. But, in less than a month I had taken my newly aquired dog to the emergency vet for eating 24 oz. of M&Ms! I invested a couple hundred dollars in food, toys, and doctors visits. I also successfully trained my dog to be pushy, not listen to me or any commands I said, and pull me down the road at whatever pace he pleased in his blue harness.

Fast forward to now – my dogs are well-mannered, obedient family members that are a joy to have around. We go out walking, running, hiking, and they even travel around with me to local dog-friendly places running errands or grabbing food. I train dogs for families just like yours, and I am excited to work together!

Trainer Emily

Hi, I'm Emily!

I have always loved animals, growing up on a small farm, I worked with all kinds of animals. I especially love dogs, when I was 8 I trained my childhood dog to climb a ladder so he could be in the clubhouse with us. After moving out, I finally got my current dog Lucy. That sparked my interest all over again. I trained her to do all kinds of tricks and worked with Kemp on her behavioral hiccups. Working with Kemp and learning how to read dogs made me realize this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. So I quit nursing school and dove head first into dog training.

Now I have a second dog that I am training for sport work and I am learning even more with him! I train puppies, and adult dogs for basic obedience and behavioral issues. I also do therapy dogs and service dogs. I am still exploring and learning with sport work but would love to learn and grow with you and your pups on any and all of it!
